Failed to install KB4034674

I just finished the upgrade to v1703 build 15063.540 (KB4034674). Using the ISO to reinstall v1703 has fixed this issue. If you simply run the installation, it will replace the corrupted Windows files, and run the upgrade to KB4034674.

I hope this works for others as well as it worked for me.

Doing a manual install of a missing build update from July 31st as well as the one for August (KB4034674) resolved this for me.

  I noticed that my build is two out of date so I've downloaded the July update from the MS catalog installed that first, then installed the August update.

I'll be interested to see what happens to my main setup which is set to defer for 7 days. I haven't yet received 15063.502 which would/should be due in the next day or so.

What do you think I will see ? Will I still get 15063.502 or will I get this latest one in a weeks time and skip the previous.

Installed with no issues. My spotlight remains broke though. It works fine when logged into Windows but on a cold boot the image is a default Picture. Very annoying as I have tried all the fixed too.

Thanks, installed! but now I get that annoying on screen keyboard popping up after a reboot. Had the same issue on latest Insider build *Smile

UPDATE: seems the on screen keyboard pop up was a one timer issue.

 

Despite a longer than normal download (well it felt it like anyways) all downloaded with no issue yet

 

I have had that issue for the last few days but not found a way to fix it *Sad

 

Installed the update, so far so good. *Smile

 

Glad it's not just me and Bree with that issue! Its so strange as it was working fine earlier in the day
