    Random daily BSOD! Help please!!!!

This is driving me mad. I tried everything I could think of: Updated all drivers, updated BIOS, disconnected peripherals, disabled individual devices. Ran Memory diagnostics. IT KEEPS HAPPENING. At completely random intervals, sometimes in the middle of
a process, sometimes when the machine is idle. Sometimes after a few minutes on reboot, other times after hours of solid use. But happen it will. At some point or another.

The minidump files just give me:

Please remove 1 of your memory sticks, running mixed memory causes problems.

  8. Daily Random BSOD HELP

    Welcome aboard, Davinder.

Because there are many possible causes, there are several possible solutions.

Go into Device Manager and find your video card. Make sure it is working properly and you have the latest driver, and then find the tab for "Events." Make sure that the driver installed completely when you went to 10.

But what you have is a Windows Vista machine with a powerful CPU and four gigs of RAM that is not designed for Windows 10. The Dell support site states:

Product not tested for Windows 10 upgrade

Dell is not testing or developing Windows 10 drivers for this product. If you choose to upgrade, some features, applications, and connected devices may not work as expected.

My advice is that if a simple solution does not work, you should revert to the previous operating system. Yes, you can upgrade Vista and even XP machines to 10, and some people have done so with few problems. But usually, it is a bad idea.

The memory your laptop is using is mixed memory. This is probably done at the factory or a tech added/replaced 1 stick instead of replacing completely with a kit. Mixed memory can cause many problems that can be hard to identify.

Talking about your hard disk, it has some errors, please perform following tests per the instructions.
