    Disable Windows 10 keyboard shortcuts


    I want to turn off all Windows 10 keyboard shortcuts. Following others' suggestions, I right-clicked on the Desktop and followed the menu through graphics options to hotkeys and chose "Disable". However this hasn't helped. At least some remain. One example among many: {WindowsKey + I} still opens Settings. How can I disable this and all other Windows shortcut keys?

    Windows 10 commands/shortcuts/env. var.

    Keyboard shortcuts to open programs:

    Create a shortcut on the desktop to whatever program you want. Right click -> Properties and fill in the field there. Sadly the shortcut needs to remain on the desktop, but you can hide it.

    Fun fact: If you had keyboard shortcuts for programs pinned to your Windows 7 start menu, those shortcuts still work when you update to Windows 10.

    Try redefining your shortcut keys using Autohotkey (free). Something similar worked for another user- different function.

    I'd suggest considering allocating Win key Up/Down to Autohotkey's WinMaximize, WinMinimize com,ands.

    Its help is excellent, good user forum.
