(went back to Chrome as default *Smile)

Weird. Why only IE works for you in this seemingly simple task ?

P.S. I would save that Tech Bench link for future use, and I am sure you will need to.
    A desktop shortcut, perhaps.

Curiouser and curiouser, right clicking the iso file does not give me a Mount option:

Dism problem "The source files could not be found" [IMG]

The file name is "Win10_1511_2_English_x64.iso" with a size of 4,354,454 KB

Thanks again davidhk, Bitzipper had taken over the iso, got it straightened out and best of all got my system back "to normal". The problem I had was that the File History Recovery wasn't working, the corrupt file was opencl.dll and your suggestions were the only thing I tried that actually worked!*Party

  12. It said that the restore operation completed successfully. Do I need to restart my computer?

Dism problem "The source files could not be found"

Assuming you were using this dism command ?
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:wim:H:\sources\install.wim:1 /limitaccess

If yes, run the sfc /scannow again.
The result should be positive....... that it has found corrupt files and repaired successfully.

If that is the actual result, then you are done.
    Restart is not necessary.

Please post back the result of sfc /scannow.

  15. I have recently experienced similar issues with "source not found" and error 0x800f891f. I followed the download instructions on Windows 10. That produced a valid iso file and even "mounted" it on a virtual volume (this is essential). You can find it on File Explorer.

After you see the file has been successfully downloaded, execute the following command from an elevated command prompt:

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:wim:E:\sources\install.wim:1 /limitaccess

Change E to the correct drive on your system. It worked for me, hope it works for you.
