Is KB4016240, KB4020001, and/or KB4020002 offered when you run a manual check for updates and if so, does the update(s) successfully install?

Perhaps Your cleaninstalled Win10 now includes newest KB-Updates (KB 4020001, KB 4020002) via MediaCreationTool, which I do not have till now via Windows Update, since those seem to be Cab-files till now normally only available via Updatecatalogue, see:

Did You do Your cleaninstall with or without all Your personal files and apps being preserved ?

Can't install the KB4020002 ... I'm getting "Error: 0x80070002" when trying to install the cab file using Right Clic / Install

Mine installed just fine but I used the DISM method.

 

I thought I had 2 installed but it was the first one. I am getting the same error now that tif55 got.

 

First one works (Pro and Home), but not the second: KB4020002

I have the same proble, with windows 10 Pro 64 bit:
KB4020001- successfully installed
KB4020002- Error: 0x80070002
My "Users" folder is re-locaed to d:\ instaed of c:\

 

I am confused which is nothing new. What exactly is a Dynamic Update? What version of Windows are these updates aimed at? I mean if were are all ready on 1703 why would we need these updates? In what scenario would Windows Update download and install these updates?

 

Same with me, what is this? One of our machines is on creators and one is still anniversary edition - neither of these kb have tumbled down through windows update. Should they of ?

 

As they are for improving upgrading to 1703, it would seem somewhat obvious that those of us who have already upgraded do not need them and consequently they will not appear in Windows Update for 1703.

Dynamic update I read as being a hotfix.

 

That's what I thought too, though KB4020001 does say "...and recovery experience..." too. Either way, neither my 1703 or 1607 systems find these updates when checking for updates, both say "your device is up to date", despite the respective KBs saying...
