Windows 10: Edge Favorites - problem deleting favorites

Discus and support Edge Favorites - problem deleting favorites in Browsers and Email to solve the problem; I have not been able to delete favorites from the "Favorite Bar" drop down list.     I have not been able to delete favorites from the "Favorite Bar" drop down list. The right-click and the delete key do not work.

    Microsoft Edge Favorites Not Syncing

    I was using 3 PC's and one of them was not synchronizing Edge's favorites. This lasted several months. Then yesterday I started edge again and now the favorites are synchronizing. So the problem sorted itself out. Perhaps after a Windows update.

    But I still have this problem with Edge deleting favorites and favorites folders.

    Edge fav folder is empty, but I still have favs in browser, what folder are they in to do that

    Hi Mrbill666 & KeithM-60601, i have the same problem with Edge favorites.

    Tried the Registry key mod and set the value to 0. All favorite disappeared from Edge while still there in favorite folder.

    Deleted all entries from favorite folder and imported from IE.

    Result: no favorites in Edge and no entries in folder.

    Restored the value to 1 in Registry key and favorites reappeared in Edge and no change in favorite folder content.

    Restored favorites folder contents fro Recycle.bin

    Conclusion: seems the registry key change does not work

    ( sorry for my bad English )

    Hi Brink and dapsc,

    I've figured it out. Click on Favorites or the Favorites Bar, Right-click on the one you want to delete, a menu will scroll down then scroll down to 'Remove' and you're done!
