    Exiting Safe Mode in Windows 10


    The commonly recommended methods of exiting safe mode are not working. The recommended prompt in Command Prompt is rejected as invalid and going down the msconfig route and applying normal mode does not work. Help please

    Entering and exiting safe mode in Windows 10 (1709)

    Hi Kate,

    You can easily boot up your computer in safe mode by following the steps on this link

    Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10    . Also, you can refer to the post of Amit(Kumar) from this

    thread     to boot up out of safe mode.

    Entering and exiting safe mode in Windows 10 (1709)

    in Windows 10's system configuration, under general tab: Is selecting "diagnostic start up" a way into the safe mode?

    Also, in Windows 10's system configuration, under general tab: Is selecting "normal start up" as way out of safe mode and back to regular usage?

    Exiting Safe Mode in Windows 10

    To exit safe mode, I just restart my system, nothing fancy, no commands, just restart.

    Exiting Safe Mode in Windows 10

    Just let us know. I'm sure we will figure it out. If they don't work, please tell us the method you used to get into safe mode.

    I'm having problems doing as you suggest ( I'm not too computer savvy ) I think I got into safe mode via Run + msconfig etc.
