Are you able to stay in safe mode without any crash?

Yeap, safe mode is completely fine, I've left it alone for hours and no BSOD

I signed up here after seeing this thread. I want to report that I am experiencing the exact same behavior as described by OP.

    Specs:
    FX-8350 / GTX 970

I ran Prime95 for 3 hours and monitored my temperatures. Then proceeded with Memtest86. All tests came back good. I determined that this was an issue with Windows and am considering going back to 7.

    Update:
I will uninstall the latest batch of Win 10 updates and report back with my findings.

    Glad to hear that *Smile
Although, I don't expect that safe mode rules out every hardware component, it does rule out quite a lot.

Please don't forget to check the manufacturer of your motherboard for BIOS updates.

I reinstalled Windows 10. I am updating everything. If I get a BSOD again (which I am trying to reproduce) I will post the logs.

I gotta admit, it was a bit tense, because the BIOS update had to be in normal mode, and I was afraid of a random BSOD. But I installed it! Still had another BSOD afterwards, though. I've attached the logs again.

    DRIVER VERIFIER

Warning Please make a backup of your important files and get your rescue media or create one.
    Please create a restore point.
Please follow this tutorial to run driver verifier.

Driver verifier stresses your drivers and will crash your pc if any driver fails due to a violation.

Driver verifier should be performed for a max of 48 hours, or when you have a bluescreen, whatever comes first.

If driver verifier has found a violation and you can't get back into windows normally, try to boot into safe mode and reset in safe mode driver verifier, or in the troubleshooting options open command prompt and type verifier /reset.

Note Your system will act very sluggishly while driver verifier is enabled, this is normal as your drivers will be being subjected to heavy testing in order to make them crash.

Will this be effective in Safe Mode?

For enabling and disabling yes, for stressing the drivers I am not quite sure but I doubt it.

My thoughts are that driver verifier is able to find the driver giving the problems, it is kinda normal that some drivers aren't compatible with Windows Update packages.

Please give it a try in normal mode, if my instructions are followed properly (shouldn't be hard) then you should be able to run driver verifier as it should run.

Driver verifier might also give a different error code that is more useful.

I ran driver verifier twice, each time resulting in another WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR BSOD. Please see the logs below.

    Clean boot
    Please try the following:
    • Open taskmanager
      • Go to the tab startup
      • disable everything
    • Search msconfig and open it
      • Go to the tab services
      • Check 'hide microsoft services'
      • Uncheck all other services
      • Click apply and click ok
    • Reboot if asked
See if the problem persist, if the problem does not persist enable in the startup tab in taskmanager 1 item and in the services tab in msconfig also 1 service, reboot and see if the problem persist. Keep doing this until you find the culprit or there is nothing left.

Frequent BSOD, most often upon login, WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR,

I disabled all start up programs and services. I instantly BSOD upon login once. I logged in again, verified that everything was disabled, then waited. I decided to run Furmark again, since that usually leads to a BSOD, and after 15 minutes, I had another one.

What can I do at this point? A fresh reinstall of Windows 10? Is that easily done? I don't know if I would have to input a serial key or anything.

Is your installation an upgrade or a clean install?
Please disable the GPU in the CPU and try running from the AMD graphics card.

Figured I'd report back to say I haven't crashed at all since I re-installed Windows. I even took it a step further and ran Prime95 and Furmark overnight. No crashes, nothing. However before I was experiencing the same error codes and BSOD messages.

MufB, try reinstalling Windows to confirm. Sounds like we may have a similar situation on hand, however the BSOD we both received usually points to hardware which is weird. The first thing I did was a full hardware test and everything came back fine. I then reinstalled Windows 10 using the new reset method built onto 10 -- however this still yielded the same BSOD message. What finally made it disappear was a fresh USB created with Windows 10. I then installed my drivers and ran Windows Update.
