Windows 10: Get IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and MEMORY_MANAGEMENT + others

This happens when browsing, playing WOT, or sometimes I come down and computer has rebooted from it when I'm not even on it.
PLEASE HELP. Upgraded Windows 10 Pro on top of a newly purchased albeit refurbished PC with Win 7.

Addendum, I also ran MemTest over 8 passes with 0 errors.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

So I got myself a new pc and used the media creation tool to get windows 10 bootable iso. While installing i get the error IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and aometimes MEMORY_MANAGEMENT with the Blue Screen of death.Please help how to fix this.

I saw other posd about this error but i cant used the SFC /scannow or ther tools when i haven't got any os.

The most common message i get is MEMORY_MANAGEMENT I also get ones like IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL., PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA and SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION.

I have been updating everything but i will update a few quite new things.

Also how would you check the state of the issue in safe mode?

Welcome to the 10forums.

There is a huge difference in Windows 7 and Windows 10, when one performs the upgrade from Windows 7 a lot of bugs might appear. Usually the bugs are gone with a clean install of Windows 10.
Before we start troubleshooting, I would like to give you a choice.

• I would suggest to perform a clean install and see if the bluescreen occur again, this is a quick and easy possible solution.
• The other option is that we try our best to find the problems and solutions, but I can't garantee due to the upgrade we would be able to catch every problem.

I really think the problem existed in Win 7 as well so option 2 please.

 

I can't seem to find any BIOS updates, I may be looking wrong and don't know if there are any BIOS updates.

Run chkdsk

Run HDTune to

• scan for errors, no quick scan but full scan
• check the health,
• benchmark.

It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.
Let me know what the results are

• of the error scan,
• make a screenshot of the health of every hard drive and post the screenshots,
• post screenshots with the benchmark of the
  • transfer rate,
  • access time,
  • burst rate,
  • cpu usage.

Please uninstall everything of Intel graphics using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from Intel.

I don't have any way to see the Voltage and frequency with the HP BIOS utility.

 

Is this utility in the BIOS?

 

I notice in your specs you have mismatched pairs of memory sticks. You should never do that as it can cause problems like this. At the very least the speed of the ram will go down to the slowest one.

Take the slower ram out and see if it still performs this error.

I guess. I don't see it when I do F10 during boot up, and get the screen to change the boot order, etc., clock time, you know. I don't see an option to change/view the voltage and frequency.

I pulled one stick out and immediately got a BS. Replaced that stick with the one I pulled and haven't experienced BS since. Seems like a bad memory stick to me. Running at 4 gig now. The sticks came from the factory and they both have identical sticker labels. Obviously someone screwed up when testing these modules. They definitely aren't identical. What do you recommend as far as replacing the bad module? I am going to run the analysis again to see which module is the good one that I am running with. Thanks for your help!

 

I suggest to get sticks from the same make and model.

 

I removed the PC3-12800 stick.
