  1. Glitch? My folders default to the "details" view everytime.

So I go to my Music folder & want to view my files in the "list" view options.
I leave, but & when I go back to my Music folder, it's back to the "detail" view option.

This happens every time! I select the "list" or the "icon" view arrange option & it ALWAYS resets to the "detail" after I leave the folder & get back to it.

Before the update, if I leave the view option as List or Icon or tile, it was left like that even after I revisit the same folder. Not anymore.

How can I fix this, or is this is a glitch.

    :)

  2. Windows Explorer toolbar ribbon. Windows 10

How do I keep the "home" tab of the toolbar from being default. the only tab I usually use is the "VIEW" tab. the "home" tab is completely useless to me. I want to change the default tab to the "view" tab without changing every folder layout (thumbnail,
detail, icon) to being the same. Make all folders like this one does not seem like a good idea. just the tab

Windows 10 Change default on file view

I would like to change the view on files from details to list globally on my computer. I changed the view in certain folders yesterday to "list" from "details." Today all are back to "details."
