    It states check the spelling.

I did a manual search and found the folder. It was faded out. I right clicked it/properties and unhid it.

Did that work? Can you see OneDrive in File Explorer now?

I did a restart. No it is still not showing in file explorer and is still not avail as option in winaero.
Going to check and see if a registry tweak removed it, have to find the tutorial.

By the way I don't see that path.... there is no appdata after C:\Users\{your name} .... the onedrive folder was in my name folder.
Unless I'm misunderstanding or the name in parenthesis takes it somewhere else.

Yeah still not there. Maybe loggin into it briefly might bring it back? I have never logged into it. I just installed windows 10 yesterday after staying with 8.1 for a while.

Oops! yeah, sorry, AppData is a 'Hidden' folder...

Is there a OneDrive icon in your System Tray that allows you to complete the setup?

Okay when i do the complete path unhidden it is there and is fine unhidden from earlier I suppose.

Yes if I click on it in apps/programs it will show up in the system tray and also pops up an offer to 'set up onedrive "

Okay I logged into onedrive. restarted pc, still not showing in navigation pane of file explorer, it is showing now in winaero and is checked

i looked in the registry and that registry tweak to make onedrive show in nav pane System.IsPinnedToNameSpaceTree is set to 1 so that looks right

I guess it just does not want to show, I'm going to shut it down using the tutorial here with the reg file

thanks for the help and the winaero tool, looks very useful.

It is not hidden, it is just not in your favorites for that left pane.

How can I "unhide" onedrive from file explorer

if you mean under "quick access", I can add/pin it there but i don't think that is where it was, it had it's own separate area not under quick access... by the way, I found unpinning if from quick access tricky.. the only way to do it that I found was right clicking on the file explorer icon and choosing unpin from list... clearing file history or right clicking on the onedrive icon and selecting unpin from quick access did not work

    I've tried this here:

Add or Remove OneDrive from Navigation Pane in Windows 10

using it to add onedrive to navigation pane using the reg/bat file and it completes successfully ---> HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6} is set to 1

but onedrive icon is not showing in nav pane of file explorer

There is another tutorial on hiding/showing onedrive via registry tweak here

[Windows 10 Tip] Remove Icons from Navigation Pane of This PC - AskVG

it states to set HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6} to 1 to make it show and i have it set to 1 but it also does not make onedrive icon show in nave pane after restart

Not a big deal since I'm going to disable onedrive integration and was going to remove the onedrive from navigation panel anyway.

Try this. Open C:\Users\youraccount\AppData\Local\Microsoft. There should be a OneDrive folder listed there. Right click on it and select Pin to Quick Access.

Does that put it back for you?
