Windows 10: HP Pavilion dv6 with Switchable graphic card -

Hi all,

I have HP Pavilion dv6t CTO. Product: LF374AAR .
I have install Windows 10 Home. version: 1909.

with two GPU's:
GPU1: Intel HD 3000
GPU2: AMD Radeon HD 6770M/2GB DDR5.

The computer is working only with the Intel GPU.
but It cant "swap" to the AMD GPU. (I need it for Android Studio Emulator)
Its strange because it recognized in the device manger,
but not in the 'Graphics specifications'. (as you can see in the image)

I know that this issue is a bit chewed up, but I could use some help.

p.s -
by now I tried to install leshcatlabs drivers 15.7 v1.2 and 14.4 - didnt work.
Also AMD driver from their site.

I know about FLEM - but looking a bit fishy..

HP Pavilion dv6 with Switchable graphic card -

HP has tested drivers up to Windows 7.
There are no HP tested drivers or Windows 8 and 10.

There was a BSOD on 12/13.

The logs displayed many faulting application entries.

1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
2) sfc /scannow
3) dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
4) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
5) sfc /scannow
6) chkdsk /scan
7) wmic recoveros set autoreboot = false
8) wmic recoveros set DebugInfoType = 7
9) bcdedit /enum {badmemory}

10) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

11) Create a restore point:
Create System Restore Point in Windows 10

12) Backup drivers:
Backup and Restore Device Drivers in Windows 10

13) Post a share link for PoW32kWatchdog-20191222-2336.dmp using one drive, drop box, or google drive

Right okies.

Well as you cant physically take out the performance gpu in your system, the only way, must be a Bios modification.

There must be in your Bios a boot selection point for either iGPU or optional onboard graphics.

So try in Bios and look for the 'Advanced' section. You will need to goto the System Agent Configuration and look for which type of display option is set to boot first. It will be either iGPU or PCIE. You would need to select PCIE to make sure the Laptop knows what hardware to boot from. Even try the 'Auto' selection, if possible.
