Windows 10: IE do not start on Win 10

Discus and support IE do not start on Win 10 in Browsers and Email to solve the problem; A third party browser extension on Internet Explorer may be causing this issue, so it would be ideal if you could open Internet Explorer in no add-ons... IE do not start on Win 10

The OP said he cannot START IE11. Post #1.
So, how do you propose the OP to OPEN Internet Explorer ?

The rest is just redundant. brummyfan has already said that in Post#2 in LESS words than you copied and pasted from some where.

  2. To perform this action, press the Windows Key + R on your keyboard, type iexplore.exe -extoff and press enter.

That will NOT help the OP to OPEN IE.
I won't waste my time discussing with you.

The OP will decide which way to go.

I have said that in Post #8...... IE11 is part of the operating system. It cannot be uninstalled or reinstalled.

Please do not waste time. Do the repair install.
It takes some time to finish but you will have an operating system that truly works.

That is matter of choice of words as well as how does one define DISABLE and UNINSTALL.

To me the Turn Features On or Off is no more than DISABLE.
In order to be truly uninstall, one would have to click the exe file and REINSTALL. That procedure is NOT applicable to IE11. Therefore, it is NOT uninstall/reinstall. Just DISABLE and RE-ENABLE.

brummyfan has already mentioned the Turn Features on or Off in Post #2.

In win 7 and older versions, one can uninstall IE and reinstall IE, NOT in Windows 10.

IE do not start on Win 10

In 10 you now can uninstall IE11 and that's the OS in question here.

Again, it also says.......................under Information section..............

Internet Explorer 11 comes with Windows 10. Since Internet Explorer is a Windows feature, you can't uninstall it, but you can turn it on and off.

    CONTENTS:

    • Option One: To Turn Off (uninstall) Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 10
    • Option Two: To Turn On (install) Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 10

  12. BunnyJ I agree with you it CAN BE UNINSTALLED I have had this argument for ages.
On all my systems no where is IE11 installed.
Internet Explorer yes has to stay
    But NOT the browser
Which are TWO totally different things
When I removed it from my systems it uninstalled a lot of files and removed the folder
So if that is not uninstalled then I don't know what is

IE do not start on Win 10

You will never know because of your stubbornness.
Even Brink said in the tutorial that ..................Internet Explorer 11 comes with Windows 10. Since Internet Explorer is a Windows feature, you can't uninstall it, but you can turn it on and off.

You started this silly argument in the other Windows 10 forum, and continue this with me when I started here 3 months ago.
You were wrong then, and you are still wrong now and you are forever wrong on this subject matter.

That IS for Internet Explorer which is the same as the one posted by Bunny J
Why don't you read the link first before you open your mouth ?

Does it not say........................Internet Explorer 11 comes with Windows 10. Since Internet Explorer is a Windows feature, you can't uninstall it, but you can turn it on and off.
