I managed to display white text on the Taskbar using the Aerolite Theme by setting the Taskbar options in Classic Shell - see below.

I would also like to have a different colour for the Inactive Windows but the Aerolite Theme doesn't seem to allow this for some reason.

Yeah, that's a limitation of Aerolite. *Sad

I had the problem of black text for the Notification Area Time text.

I found 3 ways to fix it:

    1) Don't use Small taskbar buttons
    2) Use the Default Windows Aero theme
    3) Tweak the Classic Start Menu Taskbar text color

  5. My Windows 10 Pro is currently Version 1607 (OS Build 14393.1066). I used Shawn Brink's Aero_Lite_(white-text)_theme for All Users, but my Time/Date stamp (Taskbar Tray) stubbornly remained black. Do I have a version mismatch problem with Shawn's examples, or is there some other way to force this text to white?

Please go ahead and post a screenshot showing what you are seeing instead to see if anything may stand out. Include a screenshot of your theme and color settings as well.

How to turn off this shitty theme? Never mind found it. You need to go back into the Penalization, Themes and then right-click and delete.

No, actually I haven't found it. My saved files Window is still terrible. How to complete take off this theme? Thanks!

    Hello Makio,

You can simply select a different theme to use, then delete this one afterwards at the location mentioned in the blue note box.

I did that but when I go to my open file dialog box, the files are still doing what Aero Lite theme did which is not highlight what I select and also it shows the Aero Lite general theme in it.

Please go ahead and post a screenshot showing the dialog box with the Aero Lite general theme in it to see what may be happening.

In addition, post a screenshot showing your theme settings, and the location from the blue note box to help verify the theme has been removed from these locations.

Hey Shawn, I have downloaded the Aero_Lite_(white-text)_theme.zip for both current account and for all accounts. It does not matter which one I install I never get white title bar text. It is always black. For that matter any theme based on Aero_Lite has always had black text in the title bar on my system. Any ideas what might cause this to happen?

I think I have been down this path before. The regedit entry for TitleText is all ready set to white 255,255,255.

Hmm, changing the title bar text color doesn't appear to be working anymore in build 16184 for me. *Sad

Windows keeps on using its defaults.
