    Issues installing version 1903


    Hello, I have an old Lenovo G570 that came with Windows 7. A few years ago I upgraded it to W10. Now, for a few months I've been trying to install the Windows Update version 1903 but it get stuck at 60% and then it uninstall again.



    I have 25 GB of free space and 4GB RAM. Any suggestions how to keep my old laptop updated with the latest windows update? I deactivated the antivirus and disconnected any usb device.

    Not listed in the Known.

    Known issues for Windows 10 May 2019 Update version 1903


    As far as Wifi any chance it is Qualcom inside USB adapter, if Qualcom then yes known issue.


    I might create another user (Local) and when if try again see if this issue occurs on both users.

    Would also suggest you run the first 5 steps in this tutorial to see if you have any corruption with current build.

    Use DISM to Repair Windows 10 Image

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Update version 1903

    When updating to version 1903, my computer gets stuck at 27% completed after 5 hours of updating. Can anyone tell me what is happening? Also, version 1809 showed on my list of failed installs and then it disappeared from the list. Was there a 1809?
