Summary

This security update resolves several reported vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer. The most severe of these vulnerabilities could allow remote code execution if a user views a specially crafted webpage in Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer 11 Windows Feature Went Missing

For some reason Internet Explorer 11 is no longer visible as an option in
Windows Features

Here is how it came about:

Using Windows 10 Pro (64-bit)

Decided to turn off Internet Explorer 11 from Windows Features (can't recall whether that was during Anniversary or Creators update)

Time passes; cumulative updates get installed

Ran "Reset this PC" from Settings > Updates & Security > Recovery; all goes well

Time passes; cumulative updates get installed

Tried to turn on Internet Explorer 11 from Windows Features. Feature not available in the list.

Current Windows version is: 10.0.15063 (Creators Update)

Start> Settings> Apps> Apps and features> if Internet Explorer is listed,

re-enable it.

History is missing in Internet Explorer 11

Hi Shirley,

When you say “There is no history on the internet explorer” what exactly are you referring to?

Is history tab is missing or history entries is missing in Internet Explorer?

Follow the step to fix this issue.

Run Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter.

Steps to run Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter.

Go to the start screen.

Enter Troubleshooting in the search box, and then tap or click Troubleshooting.

Tap or click View all, select Internet Explorer Performance, and then follow the instructions in the Troubleshooter.

If issue persists refer the link to reset Internet Explorer 11.
