Windows 10: keeps change the color I CHOOSE of the taskbar

MY WIN 10 keeps change the color I CHOOSE of the taskbar and see no way to MAKE IT STOP.

IT PICKS THE MOST TERRIBLE GREEN/YELLOW.
HOW DO I FREEZE THE COLOR.
AND Win 7 had wonderful COLOR options. In win 10, I downloaded some themes from the net, found one I like but I can only choose a theme AND IT changes as there is no "NO" OPTION ON "CHANGE PIC EVERY...

How to Change the Color of Taskbar

1. Select Start >Settings
.

2. Select Personalization and then choose
Colors.

3. Under Show accent color on the following surfaces, select the
Start, taskbar, and action center and Title bars check boxes.



4. To manually select an accent color, choose one under Recent colors or Windows colors, or select
Custom color for an even more detailed option.

To change the color of the title bar at the top of each window:

Settings>Personalization>Color. Choose the color you wish to use, then turn on whichever of the color switches you wish : [Show color on Start, taskbar and action center] and/or [Show color on title bar]

If you sign in to Windows with a Microsoft account, then as a test, turn off your "Theme" sync settings to see if that may be what is changing it for you.

i turned off the SYNC PERSONIFICATION some time ago. is this the correct sync?

 

Do you mean that you turned off "Sync settings" completely?

If not, then you would want to turn off the "Theme" sync setting in Option Two to test.

Do you have Automatically pick an accent color from my background unchecked in your color settings?

Thanks for responding, but my settings DO NOT EXACTLY look like your tutorials.

But seriously, WHY is Windows 10 worth changing at the Registry level if Microsoft doesn't bother putting customization in their GUI which is their BIG thing?
They sold us on their GUI. Now we have to customize their OS with Unix cmd style level language?
Yes 10 is a little faster, support stops on 7 in 2020 but is 10 really worth the continuing grief?

I was in the Army and got tired of it then. Then, along comes Microsoft and still shoves it down my throat.
I can not find how to DELETE IT.
HOW DO I FREEZE IT ON A PLEASANT COLOR AND MAKE IT STAY?

Bad enough it gives me no options to FREEZE a great THEME PACK picture and only has a 1 min to 1 day option AND No "NO CHANGE OPTION".

I change my mouse arrow to extra large, black and the next day?YEP, BACK TO A WHITE, SMALL ARROW.

I purchased a "FLEX" Lenovo but it came with an INFLEXIBLE OS"

will when i find out how to captures a screen, etc. Cant load my SNAGIT as cant SHARE my application HD with Win 10, another problem with Win 10. All I get is a CREDENTIAL (windows security) popup with no instructions on what it wants, etc.
It asks for a password but no password I have works. So will when I get my application HD hooked via USB as that is the only way i can get to my old Win 7 stuff.
When I do discover a change or customization, the next day, Win 10 resorts back and I have to "re-customize" all over again.
Win 10 is a bummer.

Is it only resetting your settings after having to sign in next?

Are you getting any error messages? For example, a temporary profile error after signing in?
