How upgrade old xp laptop to w10?

    Zhao,

It would not be an update as such. It would need to be a clean install.

Test its compatibility first - see
    Windows 7, 8.1 & 10 compatibility testing for Windows XP, Vista & 7 computers - Forum article

As mentioned in the article, you won't know if it works until you try it. So even if it passes all the tests, get yourself a system imaging utility such as

    Macrium Reflect [free edition]
and make a system image of your computer] before installing Windows 10.

How to transfer ssd to new computer with windows 10 without formating?

You need to make an image of the SSD with imaging software that supports restores to dissimilar hardware. One example is

    Macrium Reflect
with their Redploy feature. Another is
    AOEMEI Backupper
with the Dissimlar Harware/Universal Restore feature.

For more examples of software you can use, search the web for: image restore to dissimlar hardware.

Macrium ViBoot is not restricted to paid versions.

I cannot say what your issue is but have a look at this excellent tutorial.
