Windows 10: MS Store Not Working

I cannot download any apps from the MS Store. It tells me I own this product but when I press install it says it is starting download but then after a while it says it cannot install the app and will try later?

Generally I don't use the Ms Store so I don't know how long I have had this problem.

By the way Andre being the solution above worked I did not get chance to try edge but then also bare in mind my solution resolved without having to restart!!

I remember this from awhile back as seems every major update I get this same issue and when I found the page above it all came back to me that I had done this before.

If you haven't already, you might see if clearing and resetting the Store cache may help allow you to download the app afterwards.

yes I tried this but it didn't work. My windows update and MS Store are both not working and so a MS agent got me to reinstall windows but it is still a problem.

 

Are you getting any error messages from Windows Update?

 

yes I get an error message "there were some problems installing updates but we'll try again later" 0x80240437

 

I understand that MS Store and windows update are connected according to the MS agent.
