Multiple different BSOD while playing Shadow of Mordor

    Hello,

I have come here because i am at my witts end to what is actually going wrong here.
I end up getting a BSOD on a random timing while playing, sometimes 5 minutes in, on other times it can be that i have been playing for 2 hours already when it kicks in. It also stalls the sound (the typical mechanical beep from the speakers).

If i forgot to give some info please ask, this is the first time i have actually asked help on an online forum*Wink.
I just read that driver booster could cause issues however i have no clue if it already did it before i used this. And also no idea how to return to the other drivers.

My apoligies if i make alot of grammar or typing mistakes, English is not my native language.
I really hope someone can help me with this.

    Sincerly,
    Donny

  2. Windows 10 PC - Suddenly shuts down with no warning message

Odd although it does explain why it would crash on Mass Effect Andromeda and Shadows of Mordor but it was running normally while playing Star Wars the Old Republic, a MMO

    Hi donny10,

    Welcome to the 10forums.

Please upload a new zip file, the attached zip file is empty.

About driver booster, you can return to the original driver by downloading it and installing it again (double click the executable).
In case driver booster has installed a driver for display, please uninstall everything of Nvidia using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from your manufacturer.

I have actually tried to do this twice, and it keeps coming up empty.. i have used the .exe file as instructed in the info post however.
And considering nvidia, i have not used driver booster to install anything graphic card related (nvidia)

Here is a second try at an upload *SmileAttachment 40792
They keep coming up empty, is there another way to do this or am i doing something wrong?

Please reboot your system and try it again if you haven't.If you have tried rebooting, try BSOD Inspector.

I have attempted to copy the files into the zip archive itself, i have no idea if it worked since all the files kept coming up empty.

    See the attached file.Attachment 40798

edit: The second file is from bsod analyzer, this file seems to actually be correct.Attachment 40799

Okay, to get this all straight, what should i do and in what order am i supposed to do it?

I have scanned both my SSD and HDD with chkdsk and seatools respectively and they have come up error free.

Running prime95 as we speak, how long should i run it for? Seeing as it survived an 1 hour run stable just the other day.

    A couple of hours.

Note If you are overclocking anything, revert back to stock and test the system

EDIT: with a stable system you can run prime95 infinity.

My bios seems to have an auto overclock, since i just reset it and it oc's my i5 2500k to 4350mhz and as far as i know it is supposed to go up to 3.7 (however my previous OC was 4.4 so funnily close), i assume i should find to disable the auto oc?

Yes, overclocking could cause some crashes.

  15. donny110 Win User
Okay i have defaulted as much of the OC settings as i could find, and so far i see no issue with prime, i will attach a screenshot with Hwmonitor and prime95 running.Attachment 40860

Edit: However what might be interesting is that the amount of runs are completely uneven, no clue if that is actually relevant.. but yeah..Attachment 40861
