Windows 10: Power & Volume Icons

Discus and support Power & Volume Icons in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; How do I show the power icon and volume icons on the taskbar notification area?     How do I show the power icon and volume icons on the taskbar notification area?

    I have tried properties - customize - turn system icons on or off

    But the power/battery and volume icon are greyed out.

    Win 10 pro (upgraded from Win 7 Pro)

    Power and Volume icons

    Wish I could tell you what was going on. But after three days of not being there, the icons reappeared. Everything seems normal. I think it had to do with driver updates, as had updated recommended drivers from Lenovo.

    All solved as of right now.

    Power & Volume Icons

    Right-click on the taskbar and select Properties. Click the Customize button in Notification area. Then click Select which icons appear on the taskbar. Move the slider to on. If it is grayed out, try restarting your computer.

    PS: When I tried to click on Select which icons appear on the taskbar, the first time the window opened and then closed immediately before I could see it. Next time opened OK. What kind of bug is that?
