    Problems with eGPU after update to 1903 from 1804


    hey!

    got problems with my eGPU. before update to 1903 - everything worked fine. now in device manager its said video card installed, but in display properties said "display 1 connected to microsoft basic video driver"... i dont know what to say... i deleted all monitors (even hidded) in device manager, but after restart nothing changed. when i trying to open nvidia control panel - its said "you currently using display not attached to Nvidia GPU".. i have only one laptop display... other interesting thing - that on dGPU my brightness controls and blue screen filter working fine... on that one even in power control no brightness slider... like Windows thinks that another display maybe? once more... before update was working everything fine.... even on prev windows 7.

    With the shear number of companies backing the idea and AMD stepping in to make a standard I would say you are wrong.

    Known issues for Windows 10 May 2019 Update version 1903


    As far as Wifi any chance it is Qualcom inside USB adapter, if Qualcom then yes known issue.


    I might create another user (Local) and when if try again see if this issue occurs on both users.

    Would also suggest you run the first 5 steps in this tutorial to see if you have any corruption with current build.

    Use DISM to Repair Windows 10 Image

    can I get an egpu for my Lenovo yoga 900? The card needs to have at least 1540 MB VRAM, could anyone give a rough estimation of the cost altogether?
