    qtipr in windows 10

Hello, i have a problem with qtipr dot com it has infected my pc and keep adding a line of code to my browsers shortcuts that send me to it whenever i start the browsers.

I tried to scan it with microsoft defender, microsoft anti malware and malwarebites, they all say that I am clean but if i remove the line of code from the browser shortcuts after about 10 min it is back.

Can't find anything new in add/remove programs in control panel. I even installed a force remove program Revo uninstaller pro, it also can't find anythig to remove.

If you can please help me remove this malware or whatever it is.

    Thank you

    :)

  2. Windows 10 upgrade - data loss

I have the same problem. I had two users set up with Windows and after upgrading I have one user, which was the one that I did not use. Now I cannot figure a way to regain access to my other user account or to an admin account. I hope Microsoft posts
    a fix soon.

  3. Windows 10 Unexpected shutdown on start up

OK, so i figured it out myself

    Found the logfile in "C:\Windows\Minidump".

You need the Windows Development Kit to open it and a bit of googling to understand it.

Found out that a Daemon driver caused an error. Removed Daemon but this didn't solve it. (ps: Daemon itself worked normally).

I let hibernate my computer again and found another error with sptd2.sys: SCSI Pass Through Direct layer

More google and ended up on the duplexsecure site. Downloaded the W10 version and voila: problem fixed.

For the Windows support team: It would be really helpfull if you could pass problems to a more skilled helpdesk who can do more than proposing the standard solutions in case those won't work.

    Cheers

    qtipr in windows 10

Hello sirs. I have the same problem as TS, and I followed the instructions of sir simrick, but the shortcut persists. Everytime I connect to the internet, or restart my computer, the infected browser shortcuts comes back. Any other solutions you can present? I tried searching on Google but most of the solutions said I have to download this and that but I grew scared of installing unknown programs from the internet. I'm asking here 'cause I can trust you guys.

    Hi.
    Note in the removal instructions:
Please completely remove these browsers from your system, including your Profiles, run Ccleaner Free on the browsers to remove all cache, history, cookies, download history, sessions, etc. (everything - but make sure you have your passwords written down first!).

Open an Admin Command Prompt and enter ipconfig /flushdns [enter]

Then follow the removal instructions again in posts #2 and be sure to reset Edge and Internet Explorer as well.

Let us know how it goes.
