Windows 10: re customizing windows desktop themes no options showing

re customizing windows desktop themes no options showing

I go to personalization and see the choice of themes but cant see the small pane at the bottom of the screen which gives options for delay between images fit etc etc....am i doing something wrong ???

Using my own photos to create custom themes

In Windows 10 I can no longer get to my own Pictures/folders to create my own custom themes as I use to be able to do. I'd normally go to the personalization screen and click a theme, and then be able
to click "desktop backgrounds" and add my own custom backgrounds. Now, once I upgraded to Windows 10, this option no longer exists.

If anyone can help me with this, I'd greatly appreciate it. I like making my own themes and customizing my desktop. That's why I use Windows. If Windows 10 isn't going to allow me to do this...well, then,
Windows has taken a big step backwards..

 

You do that in the settings app.

thanks yes I found this screen easily enough, it's the one where you choose how many seconds minutes each picture is displayed for...plus some other options, the ' window' with these options used to sit under the various theme choices.....

 

Here is a tutorial by Brink with a reg file that opens up some more of the older customization stuff from Win7 & Win8. I like using this because you can also set shuffle and faster access to other customization features: 'Personalize (classic)' context menu - Add in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

Thank you, I now have the classic context menu back.....I dont see how you could change the timings without doing this !!!!!
