    Hi Brink,
    Thanks for the link.

    The first thing I've been trying, since I can now open the Store, is to 'Update all' my apps.

    The 1st in the update list is my Weather app. At the right side of the screen it has an upside-down 'U' shaped down arrow with a line through it, beside the garbage can icon. Does that mean the download didn't work? The Weather app still doesn't open.

    I've waited a bit but it seems like nothing is happening.

    All the other 12 apps are under the heading Queue. Some say:
    • Starting download
    • Pending
    • Try that again (error code: 0x80070490)

    Before I try the instructions in your link, I assume I should 'pause' the updates?

    I'd let them finish updating first, then check to see if they work afterwards. If not, then you could do what I posted to re-register them.

    I clicked 'Update all' over 10 minutes ago, but nothing has happened. The screen looks the same. I don't think anything is updating.
    How long should the Weather app take up update?

    I'm going to try to upload 2 screenshots.
    • My Library screen
    • My Updates srceen
    After I went to my Library from the Updates screen, the 'working' circle appeared in the middle of the screen. But it's been working for quite a while and nothing has changed regarding my updates.

    It looks like you got the screenshots uploaded, but just didn't attach them afterwards.

    What happens when you click on the icon just to the left of the trash icon for the MSN Weather app in app updates?

    I used Step 2, pasted the code into PowerShell. I got a screen full of red 'failed' messages. Will try to upload a screenshot.

    I sized-down my screenshot, uploaded it and tried to attach it. Before doing that I deleted the attachment Brink, sorry. Now the smaller screenshot doesn't seem to attach.

    Might be too big... take it to paint and resize to 80%, then again to 50%. Then re-post it. Gotta be under about 3.5 MB
