    Recovery drive issue

The first thing I would try from Kyhi's Recovery Tools is run Macrium Reflect. Under the restore menu is a utility to Fix Windows boot problems. Run that utility. Try rebooting normally.

If that doesn't fix it, then I would go back to Kyhi's Recovery Tools, run Command Prompt from there and enable Safe Mode using option three here:

If the computer will boot into safe mode, then I would probably try uninstalling the display adapter in Device Manager - and click the checkbox for uninstalling the driver too. Once the display adapter is uninstalled, disable safe mode booting using option 2 here:

except instead of checking the box for safe mode, you would make sure it is not checked and apply, then reboot.

I ran the boot repair in Kyhi's recovery tools. It still didn't work. I tried a few other things, but ended up downloading Windows 10 to a flash drive from the Microsoft site using the other computer, then re-installed windows. I skipped past both times it asked for the key, and it must have found it on the hard drive, because it's working and Office is re-installed. A couple minor quirks found so far, such as the trackpad doesn't awaken the screen, I have to left click. Also, the option to require the password after sleep is greyed out. Otherwise, everything seems to be working fine. Thanks again for all your help!
