Windows 10: Reduce Notification Icons area size(bug).

Discus and support Reduce Notification Icons area size(bug). in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; So, I had this bug today with the Notifications Icons area that was "huge" compared with the icon, tried a few thing before get it back to "normal"....     Reduce Notification Icons area size(bug).


    So, I had this bug today with the Notifications Icons area that was "huge" compared with the icon, tried a few thing before get it back to "normal". Don't know if this is a new thing or if you guys already encounter it before.

    bug version - 100% Scale, 1920x1080.

    To fix it, change the scale for 125% for example than back to 100%.

    Now your notification icons area should look like this:

    If you know how to make it even smaller, comment below, I would like to make the grey area to be the exact same size of the icons...

    How to change size of icons in system tray / notification area?


    Thank you for your suggestion, I'd prefer a different (and possibly cheaper) solution.

    I also tried ObjectDock a few months ago and I had two major problems:

    1. It does not support Windows 10 and Windows 10 apps (as you said).
    2. It does not support notification badges.

    Startup and Notification area

    R]I ran this batch file, but it did not help (which I understand, because Task Manager > Processes does NOT show WinDates).

    I am back to the conclusion that Win 10 can run WinDates manually, but not automatically at startup (via link). If I double-click on the link C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\WinDates.lnk, WinDates opens fine.

    My next step will be to run a scan of system files to see if something is corrupt. However, any other suggestions are welcome.

    Are notification area icons actually shortcuts?

    Are notification area icons actually shortcuts? I have a calendar in the notification area, and it always opens reduced, but I want it to open maximized. In a shortcut, I would know how to do this, but I have never been able to figure out how to do it in
    a notification area icon. Any tip?
