    Hello. I have one question, sorry for my english... is not to good *Sad.

    I have windows 10 and recently y clean my taskbar icons with the .reg posted in this site. My question is:

    Is normal that when i don't have or use a program in the taskbar the icon show in blank like this.

    The Icon's only appears when i use the program, but when i restart the computer dissapear's and show that blank icon like i show in the picture.

    Is this normal? Or i broken the icon's when i use .reg. I use this:

    Task manager icon missing from Notification area

    I had the same problem as well. I brought up the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties, and on the Taskbar tab, at Notification area, I clicked Customize. I then clicked "Select which icons appear on the taskbar". Task Manager was listed and was turned on,
    but its icon was blank. I turned it off and turned it on again, closed and restarted Task Manager, and the little icon now appears in the notification area. Meanwhile, in "Select which icons appear on the taskbar", Task Manager now shows its proper icon
    as well.

    This worked exactly the same for another program whose icon wasn't showing up properly as well.

    Removed Windows Store from taskbar, but blank space remains after removal

    I wanted to remove the Windows Store icon from my Windows 10 taskbar, as I rarely need to visit the Store and I wanted to reclaim the space used by the Store icon on the taskbar.

    When I right-clicked on the Store icon and selected "Unpin" as the option, the icon image disappeared but there remains a blank space where the icon used to be. If I add another application to the taskbar, it appears to the right of the blank space.

    When I right-click on the blank space, the options shown are: "Store" (with the Store icon showing to the left), "Pin to taskbar" and "Close all windows". If I then click "Pin to taskbar", a new Windows Store icon appears in the taskbar to the left of the
    blank space, but the blank space remains.

    How do I get rid of the blank space? Is there a registry area where I can view all the entries used to populate the taskbar with added apps and where I might be able to isolate the entry for the blank space and delete it?

    I was always of the conviction this was normal.
    They are not is use, and when they are, they may have several different appearances.
