Purchased the Office 365 with annual subscription and Cloud Storage for my home computer and somehow my Cloud storage seemed to stop working and I went online and received help with Microsoft representative, who changed my sign in to my google email, instead of my home computer sign on and now I can't get them to sync properly. I keep trying to add the google to my home and vice versa and I receive an error code that states either are recognizable. I've changed my password a few different times. HELP. I just want my home computer separate from my google gmail, but Microsoft help center was the one who used my gmail account - and not sure how to separate each.

Cortana & Office 365 Integration

We are trying to integrate Cortana with our Office 365 subscription, but it never works. Here are the steps we have done:

Turned on Cortona in the Office 365 Admin portal

We are using Windows 10 1703 – connected Office 365 service to Cortana

Did the same on windows 10 mobile with no luck, Cortana says its connected to Office 365, but sees no data and we are getting zero errors

We went rough office 365 support first and tried all fo their suggestions, they kicked us over to Windows support which is currently closed.

We are on v1703 with all updates in place, it does not work on Windows 10 desktop or mobile

any ideas? I can give you all steps 365 support had us run through if that will be helpful

Office 365 Home and Personal Licensing and Activation Improvements

Since launching Office 365 to consumers, we have heard feedback from customers about the challenges in installing and using their office subscription across multiple devices. The first step in addressing this issue happened in October 2018, increasing a single user’s device limits to five (meaning they can concurrently use five devices) for Office 365 Home and Office 365 Personal. Our next step in simplifying use across multiple devices will streamline the activation of a user’s device.

Beginning in May, we rolled out the following changes to customers on PCs, followed by Mac devices in July.

For customers, here’s what stays the same:

Sign in to activate Office: Users will continue to sign in to activate Office on their devices. When single sign-on is enabled, Office detects the user’s credentials and activates Office automatically.

Sign-in limits: Users will be able to install Office 365 on all their devices and be signed in to five at the same time. This includes any combination of PCs, Macs, tablets, or phones.

It's important to stay signed in while you use Office on your device. This is what keeps your Office installation activated and ready to use.

Here are the changes that you may notice:

No more prompts to deactivate: Users can install Office on a new device without being prompted to deactivate Office on another device.

Automatic sign-out: When a user reaches the sign-in limit (five devices), instead of being prompted to deactivate, the user will be automatically signed out of Office on the device where Office has been least recently used. The next time the user starts Office on that device, the user will be prompted to sign in to activate Office.

Office 365 Semi-Annual Extended v1708 build 8431.2280 - July 10

These release notes provide information about new features, security updates, and non-security updates that are included in Semi-Annual Channel updates to Office 365 ProPlus in 2018.

Note

The following also provides information about new features, security updates, and non-security updates for Visio Pro for Office 365 and Project Online Desktop Client.

This information also applies to Office 365 Business, which is the version of Office that comes with some Office 365 plans, such as Business Premium.

Semi-Annual Channel was named Deferred Channel prior to January 2018.

This is the Semi-Annual Extended Channel release that's been available since September 2017. It will continue to be supported and receive security updates until March 2019. But, a new Semi-Annual Channel release is now available — Version 1803 (Build 16.0.9126.2259) — which contains new features, security updates, and non-security updates*
