    The Realtek can be uninstalled using each the device manager and the control panel.
    Then you can reinstall from the Asus web site using your computers configuration and operating system.
    The realtek is displayed in device manager under audio inputs and outputs.
    There you click on properties, then driver, then record the information.
    Then install the identical driver or a more up to date driver. On occasion you may need to roll back but now you are looking for the same or more up to date.
    For the control panel you will uninstall it and replace it.

    The unknown device could be a keyboard, mouse, camera, drive, fingerprint, etc....anything that was misplaced or did not fit into the other categories. What do you see when you right click on it?

    The Intel is located on your computer under IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers 100/c230 chipset. See if you can uninstall and reinstall it using the Asus web site as the source of the driver. That should be the location for the iaStorA.sys driver.

    The iaStorA.sys driver comes with one of the Intel package linked on the ASUS motherboard page. I have installed all the latest Intel driver provided for my motherboard.

    How these drivers are related to the stuttering problems I have on startup?

    When there are bsod they produce minidump files. The minidump files are debugged. The debugging can identify whether you have a driver, application, or hardware problem over time. The most recent dubugging identified misbehaving drivers. Ideally you may get better performance with a properly behaving driver.

  5. Tonight I have tried to roll back to an older version of Nvidia drivers and while I was watching two videos on my two monitors I've got a BSOD *Sad

    The logs somehow changed to a foreign language. Please use everything search and locate this on the computer: AndroidAFDx64.sys

    There was only one bsod in the log.

    Debugging the minidump indicates: AndroidAFDx64.sys
    Please uninstall using the control panel: AI Suite 3
    If you need to use it immediately then reinstall it, otherwise leave it uninstalled while we continue troubleshooting. It can then be reinstalled at a later time.


    Please test the RAM and DIMM using Memtest86+ version 5.01 for 8 or more runs. The number of runs is important to not have false negatives. It will take many hours to run so run it overnight.

  7. Sorry for the last log, I have set my main language.

    Now I installed the latest NVIDIA drivers and uninstalled AI Suite. How could be possible that I get a lot of BSOD by simply installing drivers picked from the official ASUS page of my motherboard? We are talking about a 200 motherboard. Is it a faulty one or there's a lot of incompatibility with the latest Windows builds?

    I've tried running Driver Verifier with all drivers, every reboot I was getting a BSOD...

    I did a memtest 2 weeks ago and 2 test was passed with no errors, the test took 3 hours, I don't know if that was enough

    On a regular basis software gets corrupted. Often when it is drivers things malfunction or produce bsod. We will continue processing them.

    The computer environment is different this week than the past. Let's test the memory with 8 or more runs so we can rule in or rule out memory and move onto other components.

    You have 16 GB RAM so that will likely take more than 8 hours for 8 runs.

    When 8 or more runs have completed please make and image and post into the thread.

    Make sure that there is no over clocking while troubleshooting.

    Sometimes there are problems in the bios that produce bsod.

    The bios in your computer: BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. 3401, 25/01/2017

    To ensure that there are no improper bios settings please reset the bios.

    Sometimes there can be failure to boot after resetting the bios.

    So please make sure your files are backed up.

    Please make a backup image with Macrium: Macrium Software | Macrium Reflect Free: Macrium Software | 404

    Please create a restore point.

    For memtest86+ to be used it must have 8 or more runs otherwise it needs to be repeated.

    Four two run tests does not equal one eight run test. It's important to not have false negatives.

    We need to have a methodical and systematic way to rule in or rule out problems. On this test I need your help in the rule in and rule out so we can have few surprises and more accuracy.

  15. What do you mean, I simply started memtest at boot via an USB stick and when it launched it automatically started the test, do I need to select something to run a specific test? I have two stick of RAM, should I test them one at once?
