    System Restore

    Go to safe mode
    https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2...a.html#option2
Use Option Two ....... easiest method.

In safe mode, see if system protection can be enabled.
If not, still in safe mode, run a full virus scan.
If it catches something, remove them and try enabling system protection again.

To go back to normal mode, use Option Two, step 4.

No disrespect, but I am afraid you that you clearly do not understand what System Restore is. It has nothing to do with System Recovery.

System Restore is like running a video tape and rewinding back a few minutes. It is useful if you have just installed a new driver or piece of software and getting some problems but just want to reverse those changes.

System Recovery is like putting in a whole new tape - everything gets reset.

Also, if you use an iso to clean install, it has to be same version as licence key is designed for etc.

In any case, to reset pc, first thing to try is reset my pc.

  3. that didn't work either! but I know what will: A sledge hammer and a new computer WITHOUT windows10. How can I revert back to an older windows version? Just too many issues for some one like me who is not computer savy and just does not have the time to deal with issue after issue

    Questions :
1.How long ago since you installed Windows 10?

    2. What was your " older windows version" ? Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, or..............?
