Windows 10: Turn On or Off File and Printer Sharing in Windows 10

it's s home network 2 computers 1 with latest win10 and 1 with win 8.1 and a Synology, all connected to a ASUS router.

From the start every work fine then after latest win 10 update, I couldn’t see my Synology longer in the left panel under network.

I was need to map volumes via Synology Assistant only 2 at the same time.
That was then I tried to test things I found on internet.
That was then the problems started, under network in control center under file and printer sharing the File Sharing Won't Stay on
Win 8.1 has no problems there I have Synology in left panel under network.

I can ping Synology ip nr.

I can’t use \\computername method either
Can’t find the Swedish word for DisplayGroup
Can't find any good swedish sights about this kind of problems.

If you haven't already, see if you may be able to map the Synology using its IP address instead of computer name.

I can ping my nas both with ip.nr and name of nas.
When I try this
net use * "\\xxx\xxx" /persistent:yes I get this no network found.
And in network settings, File Sharing still Won't Stay On. in all profiles.

Can this be the problem when I run the troubleshooting for incoming connections it says this.
More than one device translates the networkaddress (NAT)

 

Yep, the bottom message in your post indicates that File and Printer Sharing is not turned on.

What does Synology Assistant show in Windows 10 when trying to connect it?

Do you have the latest version of Synology Assistant installed on the W10 PC?

In addition, check to make sure the Base Filtering Engine service is enabled (automatic) and running.

Next, check in Windows Firewall to make sure File and Printer Sharing and File and Printer Sharing over SMBDirect are checked to be allowed for your "Private" network like below.

Synology assistant says error code: 1203
I use Kaspersky Total Security 17.0.0 yes i have test whihe out it.
In service (services.msc) Workstation is in auto start, but when i open it it's not started. When i try to start it says (error 2 can't find the file)
My be thats the problem?

You should be able to, but I would recommend to create a restore point first just to be on the safe side.

Yes
And I can use Synology assistant but you can't have all the folders from Synology at the same time in windows.
