Windows 10: Turning off Airplane Mode in Windows 10

I installed an update from Microsoft for Windows 10, once it installed it for whatever reason turned on airplane mode! Now that in & of it's self may not be a bad thing, but it is when it's on a DESKTOP COMPUTER!! I've googled, Binged, MSN, you name it, trying to get help on how to TURN THIS OFF!! & yet no one seems to know how to turn Airplane Mode off on a Desktop Computer! Now seeing as how it was Microsoft's update that caused this problem, one would think that they'd be the ones to come up with a fix & yet I've been told that Microsoft doesn't know how to fix it. Now this airplane mode issue has caused my computer to not allow anything to install on my computer. I removed the wireless card from my computer, tried to reinstall it & keep getting the error message of windows encountered a problem trying to install the drivers. Now my printer can't reinstall on my computer.

How to turn on off Airplane mode in windows 10?

• Open Action Center by clicking the rightmost icon. In the bottom side, a tile of airplane mode would be given. Clicking that would turn it ON and turn it into bright tile.
• Navigate to Settings>Network and Internet and turn Airplane mode ON or OFF.

• When you say that "TRIED 3 DIFFERENT METHODS I FOUND ", what are the troubleshooting steps which you have tried to performed for resolving the issue?

WINDOWS 10 AIRPLANE MODE AUTOMATICALLY TURNS

Let us try the following steps, and check if it helps.



Step 1:

You can turn off aero plane mode from setting and check if it helps:

1. Go to settings.

2. Click on network.

3. Select flight mode and toggle to disable it.

4. After you tap or click the toggle to turn Airplane mode on or off, it can take your PC a few seconds to turn each wireless device on or off.



Step 2:

Try to Turn off Airplane Mode in Action Center and check the status.

1. Press Windows keys +A to open action center.

2. Click tap on airplane mode quick action button to toggle it on or off.



Step 3:

Try to turn off Airplane Mode in Network Notification Area Icon and check if that helps.

1. Click on network icon on the task bar.

2. Click/tap on aero plane icon to toggle it on or off.



Step 4:

If issue still persists, I suggest you to update the Wireless network drivers once again and check if it helps.

  Device Manager.

  Locate the Network adapter and expand the driver icon.

  Look for Wireless driver and then right click and click on Update driver.
