    have you installed any drivers or updates? if not you may have to do that and see if your issues get fixed.

    went into settings and installed windows updates and then went to device manager and updated graphics driver...also i downloaded drivers from the hp website and installed them but didnt fix the reverse brightness issue....any ideas???

    no none of the solutions in that thread work....another thing is that what was the windows c partition is now local disk c and there is no recovery d like there used to be...what should i do

    Having no recovery partition is not a loss. It's not the best idea having a recovery data on the same hard drive as the OS. If your hard drive fails, it's useless. It's only a way to cut cost for the manufacturers instead of providing recovery DVDs or USB. You can create your own recovery drive using a USB flashdrive. But it has to be a dedicated USB stick for this purpose.

    The random freezing issue is back again, so the clean install hasn't fixed it.
