Windows 10: What is up with the Windows update to 1903?

I have tried twice using the system upgrade and once by creating a windows ISO to get my system upgraded to windows 10 version 1903.


I see in the community many issues.


I realize there are a ton of dependencies for this type of a comprehensive upgrade, but um... you tell me my version of windows is going to be disabled, and your update process doesn't work?

How does someone get support. Not from a community member but from the corporation spooning this drivel out?

Known issues for Windows 10 May 2019 Update version 1903


As far as Wifi any chance it is Qualcom inside USB adapter, if Qualcom then yes known issue.


I might create another user (Local) and when if try again see if this issue occurs on both users.

Would also suggest you run the first 5 steps in this tutorial to see if you have any corruption with current build.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Greetings! I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. The steps which you have undertaken to block updates won't work for any feature update. Feature updates need to be blocked temporarily by using different steps.

But, I will suggest that you should not try to stop 1903 feature update. Let it happen.
