Windows 10: Windows 10 1903 update

I updated to the may update 1903 and found that I didn't like it. It slowed my pc down and caused a lot of my already existing apps to not perform properly. I tried to uninstall the update through the troubleshoot>advanced options> uninstall updates. After the process was complete my pc claimed there wasn't any OS of any sort on it, that I needed to reinstall. So i tried to reinstall from a usb drive I have a copy of my OS on, but now I get this message: "No signed device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, ave then click OK."

I created the back up after three first time I had to reinstall. The usb has been sitting in a drawer in a plastic case. So it's untouched. Can someone please help. P.S. the photos are of the message I received and the device with my backup OS contained in it.

Known issues for Windows 10 May 2019 Update version 1903


As far as Wifi any chance it is Qualcom inside USB adapter, if Qualcom then yes known issue.


I might create another user (Local) and when if try again see if this issue occurs on both users.

Would also suggest you run the first 5 steps in this tutorial to see if you have any corruption with current build.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
