Windows 10 auto-login "Your Microsoft Account requires attention" always happening no...

After some patch a while back, I continuously get this message when my machine boots up "Your Microsoft Account requires attention". The simple fix is to click on the notification that I can't seem to turn off in Notification settings and type in my account password. It's annoying because it happens every time I boot. It's like a race condition where the boot process goes faster than the login process, or something like that.

I tried removing account then re-adding and that didn't fix the issue. I turned off the auto-login, rebooted, logged in, then turned on auto-login, rebooted, and it worked the first time but stopped working again.

Is there a fix for this annoying issue for auto-login? Also, I tried just stopping the notification because I don't really need to login for anything other than it being my local user, but Settings->System->Notifications & actions-> and turning offMicrosoft Account doesn't prevent the notification. Not only that, but after you get the notification, the state of that switch reverts back to "On". Duh!

    :)

    Help Removing Microsoft Account login

I am not sure if you want to switch to a local account instead of your Microsoft account, or if you want to keep your Microsoft account but login automatically instead of having to type the password.

How to auto login windows 10 if i use Microsoft account?

I didn't solve this by your suggestion. However, i reinstalled windows10, and log in with Microsoft account from start. Then netplwiz works well.

I found a interesting phenomenon. After unchecking the box of netplwiz, and type a wrong password, netplwiz will also exit with no error. Does it mean netplwiz only sotres the password i input and use this for logging in?

I have two hypothesises about netplwiz.
    1. auto login feature is a kernel feature, netplwiz just call this feature, the password you need to input after unchecking the box is just for authentication of current user.
    2. auto login feature is provided at userspace by netplwiz. the password you need to input after unchecking the box is stored somewhere and netplwiz will use this password to log in windows

At first i think first one is correct, but now it seems that second is correct, am i right?

'Attention Required' notification in Windows 10 Mail

Hi, I am getting an 'Attention Required' notification in Windows 10 Mail with a warning triangle next to the Accounts list on the left hand side of the screen against the Hotmail account. The trouble is when I click on it and select Fix Account, a pop up
appears titles 'Attention Required, with the words Fixing Account... , but fro0m there it just hangs. Nothing else happens.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?
