Windows 10: Windows 10 home version 1903 in S mode

Dear Microsoft Community,


First problem(1st!)!

-Have new PC(installed 15/10/2019!) & Manufacturer has set PC to Windows 10 home, version 1903 in S MODE

-This morning I had the question if I would update Windows(PC)! I did agree with the update of Windows.

-Now from this morning 7am I got constantly the message UPDATE FAILED.

-THE MESSAGE!!

Windows UPDATE FAILED.

THERE WERE PROBLEMS INSTALLING SOME UPDATES,(ME(I) !!??) BUT WE'LL TRY(ME(I) !!?) AGAIN LATER.

2019-11 Cumulative update for Windows 10,version 1903 for x64-based System(KB452457)

ERROR 0x80240438.

status,

(Microsoft again) We couldn't connect to the update service.(I,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????????)

We'll try again later, or you can check now.

If it still doesn't work, make sure that you are connected to the internet.

I DID CONSULTED(tation)TROUBLESHOOT.

-TROUBLESHOOT REPORT.

The XML page cannot be displayed ,cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet.

PLEASE CORRECT THE ERROR AND THEN CLICK THE REFRESH BUTTON, OR TRY AGAIN LATER.

Then Microsoft going on to say:

SECURITY SETTINGS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXECUTION OF THE SCRIPT CODE WITHIN THIS STYLESHEET.


My Question!, -Why have I got Windows 10 home IN S MODE?

- Why do I have to solve MICROSOFT (THE )PROBLEMS?

- DOES MICROSOFT THINK WE ARE ALL ROCKET SCIENTIST?

-DOES MICROSOFT AGREE WITH ITS OWN CONTRADICTION?

2nd problem!!

MY 2nd pc is Windows 10 PRO.(use it for translations).

ALWAYS THE SAME PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!! Windows update failed ……..We'll try again later!!!!!!!!!!!

Same bloody song for EVER!!!!


3rd problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PC is Windows 10 Home version 1909,.... yes? (Use it for general research & DETAILS!).

Guess what the problemis?(I give you a 10 out of 10 if you got it right, OK?)

ALL my setting are set to MICROSOFT, FROM ANTIVIRUS TO...…! There is an EXEPTION....I THAT I had to ADD a 2nd Email

Address for KNOWN reasons!

WHY do we ALLWAYS encounter THE SAME PROBLEM???


-Is there ONE good soul in the Microsoft Community who can explain to me what is going wrong?


-We All Wasting Time With Such Things, & Microsoft take use to much for granted.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Window 10, Version 1903 May Update

1. Why are all of the links that you listed not completed. On my computer currently it has Windows 10 Home Version 1803, installed 6/29/2018 with O.S. Build 17134.799. It has used space of 187 GB and 257 GB of free space.

I attempted to install Version 1903 Manually, through Settings/Windows Update, Windows 10 Update Assistant, and other ways without success. I have spent the better part of the past 3 days trying to get this accomplished on my laptop. It has worked on my
PC but not on the laptop.

Listed below are the different error messages that I get after the download stops each time at 90% and converts back to previous settings:

a. Windows 10, Version 1903 error message (0x80240034)

b. We couldn't install this update, but you can try again (0x800703fb)

c. We couldn't install this update, but you can try again (0xC1900101 - 0x4000D)

d. Feature update to Windows 10, Version 1903, We couldn't install this update, but you can try again (0x80070652)

If there are ways to get this latest update installed on my laptop, please let me know what I have to do in detail, step by step.

Local profile issue after upgrading to 1903

Known issues for Windows 10 May 2019 Update version 1903


As far as Wifi any chance it is Qualcom inside USB adapter, if Qualcom then yes known issue.


I might create another user (Local) and when if try again see if this issue occurs on both users.

Would also suggest you run the first 5 steps in this tutorial to see if you have any corruption with current build.
