    Windows 10 Mail not printing from laptop


    I get a message, in red, that no print job has been sent. i can get it to print from my smartphone. Also. if I move the email from the inbox on the laptop to say the spam box; it will print from there!. I can print web pages.

    Printing Issue

    I have been able to print my mail for the past year from my Mail app on Windows 10. Tonight there was a Windows update and ever since my laptop restarted I cannot print thru the Mail App. I can print from websites, Word, Excel, test Pages but cannot print
    a mail message thru the Mail App. I can log into my webmail and print that way as well. How do I fix??

    Unable to connect to printer from Windows 10 Mail App

    I have updated to Windows 10 on both my computers, first a Dell desktop and most recently an ASUS laptop. Everything was working fine until a few days ago my desktop, after a windows update, stopped printing from the mail app. Could print from Word, XL,
    Chrome, and others without problem but not from mail.

    I bring up the mail I want to print, click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner, the print window appears with my default printer shown, the message says "connecting" and the dots go around the circle but nothing happens. When I try again the
    message says "nothing was sent to the printer, select something and print again" but still nothing happens.

    I first checked the printer driver and it is the most current one. I then removed the printer and reinstalled it, still it will not print from mail app.

    Last night my laptop updated with an updated version of Windows 10 and now it is acting the same way as my desktop has been acting for a few days now. PLEASE HELP

    Not sure if this will resolve but have you tried re-register the Mail app?

    Option 2 of this tutorial.

    Reinstall and Re-register Apps in Windows 10

    Ensure you have restore points enabled and create one prior to making any changes.

    Thanks for offering a possible solution to the problem. What has happened now is that it is suddenly working again - without doing anything to correct it.
