Windows 10: Windows 10, new version of 1903, Firewall and Network

Here are some lists that the Windows 10 versions of 1903 cause my system some problems

! - The Night Light won't follow my command to turn on as scheduled after the restart and Shut Down. (I think something had to do with time or something else). Problem solved for only temporary but still waiting for Microsoft to fix the problem.

2 – Private/Public Network for Firewall

Before I updated Windows 10 new version 1903, I had no problem with both firewalls, Windows Defender Firewall and AVAST Firewall (I don’t use it) as I set up as "Private” in Network. Now I noticed there is an issue related to Firewall, Window Defender Firewall, and Avast Firewall with Network. The system automatically changed Window Defender Firewall from Private to Public on a network (the same thing goes with AVAST). I tried to reset up Private network in Window Defender Firewall and then either Restarting or Shut Down, the system turns back to Public from Private in Network. I forced myself to switch from Public to Private but each time I either I restarted or Shut down, it switched back to Public. I am getting tired of it. The same thing goes with Avast, I have been testing on AVAST. Not only Avast firewalls. Both firewalls because I have been testing both firewalls and both turn out the same thing. It was the system!! Since updated to 1903, it changed everything in my Windows and messed up with my system. It is running okay but I have to do manual.

Any idea is it system or is it a new version of 1903??

Windows 10 Tweaks

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows Firewall blocks App Store from downloading new apps

Hi,

Let's try to check if the app store you're referring to if it's really blocked by Windows Firewall. See these steps:

• Open Windows Firewall from the taskbar >
  Firewall & network protection > Allow an app through firewall.
• A new window will show up containing the list of the apps that ca be allowed through Firewall.
• Look for the app you want to be accessed, and make sure that the Domain, Private and Public are ticked. That would allow the app store to be accessed.

Let us know what happens after doing the suggestion.

Known issues for Windows 10 May 2019 Update version 1903


As far as Wifi any chance it is Qualcom inside USB adapter, if Qualcom then yes known issue.


I might create another user (Local) and when if try again see if this issue occurs on both users.

Would also suggest you run the first 5 steps in this tutorial to see if you have any corruption with current build.
