Windows 10: Windows 10 Update 1903

Few Days ago i reported the problem about windows check update monthly security patches then i reinstalled the older version 1809 but with August security patches i thought this problem fixed now i tried the version 1903 again now i have these problems

1:- can't check updates that server issue still there.

2 can't find auto brightness option and its not changing by itself in 1809 there isn't option for auto brightness but it was changing by itself i like when i plug in charging it auto goes to 100% and if i unplug it then it drops to 50 auto or where i set it too.

i tried every solution which is available on Google like changing DNS and updating graphic drivers enabling and disabling generic monitor drivers etc

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Local profile issue after upgrading to 1903

Not listed in the Known.

Known issues for Windows 10 May 2019 Update version 1903


As far as Wifi any chance it is Qualcom inside USB adapter, if Qualcom then yes known issue.


I might create another user (Local) and when if try again see if this issue occurs on both users.

Would also suggest you run the first 5 steps in this tutorial to see if you have any corruption with current build.

If I understand correctly, in simple terms, you are suggesting changing the path/method of obtaining the 1903 update but still installing it anyway -

Surely if the problem is actually with the 1903 update then the result will be the same problems irrespective of how it is applied?

Please could you clarify in simple terms, step by step, what your suggested actions actually do and how this may solve the problem.
