  2. Try to disable "Show me tips about Windows", maybe even "Show app notifications".
Disabling Action Center would disable it for sure, but also all other notifications.

Holy Hell! I read about several ways to fix this, but I cant even get past this damn FULL SCREEN BLOCK out with just one Button choice.

WTF - Even if/ when I run CMD or TASKMGR (to end this process), I cant access them. Is there way to get them to be the ACTIVE WINDOW on screen?

Lol, that avatar + that quote.

Well that kind of bent-over submissive attitude is exactly what Microsoft's constant bullying tactics are supposed to create. Because M$ knows what's best for us. Just turn on auto updates. Let the updates spread like a network worm through LAN. Do not defer. Do not disable. Give us your telemetry data and be complacent.

So for now I set the Update Mode to Notify-Only, but I also am using the 3rd part Windows Update Minitool while keeping Windows Update Service disabled and that's how I "solved" it...

Hello, I apologize, I know this thread is 100 some days old, but I created an account to post this.
This has worked for me, so hopefully I can help people who come here looking for answers, like I did, only to not get so many. This will disable the notification that takes up your whole screen and interrupts your gaming (huge problem in raids and competitive games, thanks, MSFT.

First: You must open an elevated instance of CMD, meaning cmd with admin privileges.
then you must copy and paste the following into CMD and press enter.

Code: cd /d "%Windir%\System32" takeown /F MusNotification.exe icacls MusNotification.exe /deny EveryoneWindows 10 "Updates are available" POPUP (VERY ANNOYING) :(X) takeown /F MusNotificationUx.exe icacls MusNotificationUx.exe /deny EveryoneWindows 10 "Updates are available" POPUP (VERY ANNOYING) :(X) rem[/quote] Done! It works by taking control of the programs' by associating them with your profile, giving you ownership, then denying them execute rights. When they try to execute, they will be denied. Thank you for reading, I hope this has helped!

Thanks docpipo for describing how you stopped this annoying "feature". I manually used TaskManager to stop two MusNotifications from running and this allowed our user to continue working in windows.

I will try your code you posted since I would prefer this annoying blue box not show up at all for end-users.,

    Thanks! *Smile
