Windows 10: Windows Key + Shift + S - Snip Works, However Doesn't Open Snip 'n' Sketch Automatically...

Any advice on this would be great.


I think an update may have changed this? not sure.


Before, you could do windows key + shift + s, this would let you drag a snip, which woul then immedatley and automativally open in "Snip n Sketch" to be drawn on, edited, and then copied or saved.

Now, when i do windows key + shift + s, i can draw a snip - but then after completing the snip comes up as a notification? rather than just opening snip n sketch immediatley.


Any ideas? I've already tried going onto 'Apps' and clicking 'Reset' on Advanced Details and restarting my PC, no luck!

Snip and Sketch Awkward

Use Windows+shift+s to launch Snip and Sketch. Can snip a screenshot.

Now the problem is this: after snipping the screen shot, it does not automatically appear in the Snip and Sketch app. So I open Snip and Sketch and there's nothing on it.

So I have choose 'new' and snip the screen yet again.

I recall using this once and taking a screenshot and voila! Snip and Sketch appeared with the screen shot duly in the app's workspace, ready for annotations and saving etc. This facility has disappeared. I have re-set it according to instructions, and even
reinstalled it - yet the problem persists.

Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

 

snip & sketch short cut won't snip

Using the Windows Logo + Shift + S short cut, the Snip & Sketch program let me dragged the rectangle over what I have wanted to snip. But then it dissappears after I finished dragging the rectagle. The Snip & Sketch also quitted.

The program worked when I use the Control N keys or click New.

Please advise how to fix that problem.

Snip & Sketch No Longer Opens

The behaviour you're describing seems exactly as expected, except you don't get the notification- maybe you have that notification disabled.
