Windows 10: Windows Update 1903 issues

A few weeks ago, Microsoft basically forced this upgrade onto my PC (computer eventually restarted on its own with no prompt)


After I waited 3 hours for it to update, my computer would freeze up randomly (the screen & mouse etc. completely freezes and I have to restart my computer)


I ended up rolling back to the older version


Yesterday Microsoft pushed out this update again to my PC, without even prompting me to upgrade


Today my computer is freezing up randomly again


So why does microsoft keep pushing out this lousy & clearly untested updates onto everyone? Is there a way to opt-out completely of any windows updates, permanently??? I'd like to have a computer that doesn't freeze up every hour... Guess I will roll back to an older version... again

As far as Wifi any chance it is Qualcom inside USB adapter, if Qualcom then yes known issue.


I might create another user (Local) and when if try again see if this issue occurs on both users.

Would also suggest you run the first 5 steps in this tutorial to see if you have any corruption with current build.

Came here to suggest this.*Laugh :laugh:

Definitely not an issue with the Windows Servers as I just re-installed yesterday and got all my updates.

It works, but I still need to fix it so that way I dont have to plug computers directly to the modem to get windows update to work. It was also blocking me from installing directx.
