Windows 10: WIndows Update Issue with Audio version 1903

I saw some forums saying to download this patch https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4505903/windows-10-update-kb4505903 , But it didn't let me install the patch? I tried X64 & Arm64.


I'm having issues, with low volume, when playing Games, Youtube, etc. Whenever i play games , the volume is maxed everything, yet i can barely hear anything except for people talking with their microphones.


Things I've done


Reinstall Realtek

Try to install KB4505903


Things included


Yes my master volume is maxed

Yes my other volumes are with the same as the master volume, yes

Current patch version i'm on is https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4512941/windows-10-update-kb4512941


My computer:

It's running 64 bit operating system, x64 based processor.

Local profile issue after upgrading to 1903

Known issues for Windows 10 May 2019 Update version 1903


As far as Wifi any chance it is Qualcom inside USB adapter, if Qualcom then yes known issue.


I might create another user (Local) and when if try again see if this issue occurs on both users.

Would also suggest you run the first 5 steps in this tutorial to see if you have any corruption with current build.

Windows 10 update version 1903 - Headphone Not Recognized

It works with 1903, left click the speaker Icon in the taskbar as shown in this pic

I'm a big fan of Windows 10, however, updating to the May version 1903, I lose headphone recognition.
When plugging-in the headphone I should see:
"Realtek HD Audio 2nd output (Realtek High Definition Audio) in Device Manager.
I do not see this with version 1903 and do see this with previous versions of Windows 10.

Before restoring to a previous version of Windows 10 (1803), I took steps to uninstall the Audio driver, restart, reinstall Audio driver to see if that would work - it did not.

Anyone else experienced this anomaly?

Is there another solution using Windows 10 (1903)?

I'm running Windows 10 on an HP Z400 Workstation.
