Windows 10: Windows updates KB4512508 and KB4506991

On 8/15/2019 I installed the above 2 Windows updates. Since then, my screens freeze up and I get a message saying 'Google Chrome(not responding)' I have deleted temp files, cookies, etc as well as cleaning out my cache. I've tried creating a new user as default and nothing has helped. I tried uninstalling these 2 updates but they are now not listed in my recently installed updates. I tried going to a previous restore point but have none. I did a search to find out why I wouldn't have any and found that with the Windows 10 update, restore points were removed and set to 0. I see no reason to create a new restore point until I fix this problem. I have tried Google Forums and this doesn't seen to be a Google problem but a Windows update problem based on what I've read here. What else can I try?

Updates KB4512508 & KB4506991 - performance problems ????

These two updates were installed 8/13 for KB4512508 and 8/14 for KB4506991.

Not date certain but after these two updates I have experienced performance problems. Specifically virtually everything I do -- typing, entering data, using any software programs [photo editing, Libre Office, etc.] my browsers, and more there is a time lag
between the key stroke or action like minimize/maximi. The PC just seems to take a break and then catch up.

I have tried some cleaners and nothing has helped.

!) have others had this or similar issues?

2) any suggestions to fix?

Should I uninstall these two and re-install?

Would it be better to go to a system restore point?

Windows update failed (KB4506991 & KB4512508)

My computer tries to install and update these files:
KB4506991 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10, version 1903
KB4512508 (OS-build 18362.295)

Ï have tried pretty much everything of troubleshooiting I have read online. I have tried to download and install the files manually from Microsoft Update Catalog.

But yet I get update failed, all the time. When my computer tries to install the new updates, when it restarts it somehow stops at 7%, and then I get told that the update failed. It seems that it wont go past 7%, hence why the download might be failing.

Any help on this please? I am really frustrated since this is a brand new computer.. *Banghead

Hi, you might try downloading it (them) manually from the links posted in the article per update per build in the News section:

Otherwise you could have a look at your Windows Update log. (Google if unsure)
