The default New context menu items include to create a new Library, Folder, Shortcut, Bitmap image, Contact, Rich Text Document, Text Document, and Compressed (zipped) Folder.

This tutorial will restore or remove all or specific default New context menu items for all users in Windows 10.

*Warning You must be signed in as an administrator to be able to restore the default New context menu items.

3. Double click/tap on the downloaded .reg file to merge it.

4. When prompted, click/tap on Run, Yes (UAC), Yes, and OK to approve the merge.

5. You can now delete the downloaded .reg file if you like.

I was not asking about adding and removing regular app items to the start menu, but rather adding or removing items from the Context Menu (Win+X). Specifically, I would like to add the Devices and Printers item to the list.
