    Laptop not shutting down properly after Installing Windows 10

    Hi Adil Iqbal,

    We appreciate your interest in Windows 10.

    As you have installed build 10240, I suggest you to install the latest Windows 10 Insider Preview build 10240 and check if the issue persist.

    You may try to run the Power troubleshooter and check if the issue persist:


    • Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select
      Control Panel

    • Type Troubleshooting in the search bar on the
      Control Panel.

    • Click on View all on the left navigation pane.

    • Click on Power.

    • Click on Advanced on the Power
      dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).

    • Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the
      Power troubleshooter.

    still cant get any insider updates, with the "Some Settings are managed by your orginization" message in windows update..
    I've tried all the fixes I have found, editing the gpedit, trying a registry hack, and still my "get insiders builds" is greyed out, and even though I have always been on the fast ring, I have not gotten the last 2 updates after 7-29..
    Oh well, I guess its gonna have to be a clean install for me, since I cant figure out how to fix this...*Sad*Sad
