    BSOD Kernel Error

I used compressed air to clean the dust out of the PC , all motherboard ports on the rear, and the ram slots. I used rubbing alcohol to gently wipe the contacts of both ram sticks using rubber gloves. I let them air dry, and re-placed them back into their slots. Then while watching Youtube an hour later, Firefox crashed and 1 second later, so did the computer. As soon as I logged back in, another crash hit the second I hit enter after the password.
I did another SFC test as well.Attachment 40390

Because there are only windows drivers flagged and there is some activity that might point to a failing hard drive, please test your hard drive

Note Do not run SeaTools on an SSD as the results will be invalid.

    If the result are good,
Please uninstall everything of Nvidia using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from here

I did not run SeaTools as I am running a SSD.

    ChkDsk produced no errors.

Finally I used the Display Driver Uninstaller to remove the Nvidia drivers, and reinstalled using the latest driver. I then turned off Nvidia Streaming Service.

One other thing to note that has not been previously mentioned. When I first built the PC, I had an additional 500GB HD that I used for storage. Some time after I built the computer, the drive crashed and I did not have a way to recover it. I removed it years ago, and installed Windows 7 and 10 since then. Again, this is probably a non-issue, but at this point any information could help.

There are just a few options left.

    • PSU, but I assume that is fine as you have built the system yourself.
    • Motherboard problems
    • BIOS, please load everything on optimized default settings if the settings are not on optimized default settings
    • CPU

I just reset bios to optimized default. The only two noticeable changes were that my cores were re-locked (Now I only have access to 4 instead of 6), and now Turbo CPU is turned off. I guess now I wait for the "almost" inevitable.

Well it happened again. I always seem to get two in a row, and then nothing for a while. So no other options besides buying a new PC?

Thanks, running it now. Note that the voltage dropped when I started the test, but I do not know that the amount is significant. I'll run it up to 24 hours if I need to.
