Windows 10: error code 0x8E5E0152 microsoft store not working

ok i've had this issue for over a year and gave up on it last time, no matter what i do i cant get microsoft store to work, ive been on support 100's times with no solution, basically some apps can update and download while others give the error code 0x8E5E0152, and refuse to install, iv tried checking date and time settings, updating windows/other stuff, sfc/scannow, dism online commands, wsreset.exe, make a new user account, reset cache, tried to download repository from powershell, tried a fresh install of windows and nothing works, and bases on the fact a fresh install doesnt work i would think its to do with my account somehow? also some apps like the "get help" app refuses to open at all, tried these commands too

net stop wuauserv

net stop cryptSvc

net stop bits

net stop msiserver

ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old

net start wuauserv

net start cryptSvc

net start bits

net start msiserver


i've noticed with other people this error usually prevents them from updating windows or something but not me,

i feel like i've tried everything and i cant get it to work, any help would be much appreciated :

I had tried all except re registering MSoft Store , but that unfortunately did not work .

Very intermittently use SurfEasy VPN, but last time used pre dated this build & problem by some time.

Have built pc systems /rebuilt windows op system literally100's times over 25 years for myself and others, and troubleshooted most known problems but this looks like a reinstall.
Not listed in Microsoft web notice as ongoing issue involving current build.

Only had Store problem once before since it was introduced years ago, and that was easily resolved !

Run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter in Windows 10
and then
Re-register Microsoft Store app in Windows 10

You say you've tried this:

Are you using a VPN?

You could try
Flush DNS Resolver Cache in Windows 10

This suggests the problem (amongst other things) could be related to services. Have you modified or disabled any? Worth checking.

(Tweaking.com's free repair tool has a useful option to reset services to default).

 

KB4528760 : error 0x8e5e0152 ==SOLVED==

Hi,

The latest update KB4528760 always ends with error 0x8e5e0152.

After reboot "ver" is :

Microsoft Windows [version 10.0.18363.535] ==> (version 1909)

but the update still stops around 20% end error 0x8e5e0152

Any help is welcome.
